Headaches
There are many different causes of headaches and our first goal is to discover the source of your headache. If your headache is from a musculoskeletal cause then you are in the right place. If your headache has another source then we are able to refer you for appropriate help.
The vast majority of headaches are from the neck, but they can also originate from the upper back and the jaw. The nerves that supply the surface of your head originate from the top of your neck, as you can see in the picture below. If your muscles become tight and/or your vertebrae are misaligned then it will create pressure on the nerves and result in a headache. You may feel the headache at the base of the head, side of the head, temples, or even around the eyes.
